Aztlan Athletics is hosting the 4 Mile Hill Challenge—a fundraising walk/run/hike event—in Debs Park! The run starts and ends at the Audubon Center at Debs Park, and is open to both beginners and elite. Packet pickup begins at 6:00AM. Please arrive no later than 7:45AM for the 8:00AM race start.

8:30a.m.-12p.m. Post Run Activities:

• Seed Pod Making: Take home a native plant seed pod to plant!
• Coloring Station: Sit and color some local native birds
• Button making: Design your own button and take it home with you
• 9:15a.m. Meeting by the Butterfly Loop to head on a Bird Walk along the Butterfly Loop: a short trail with a small incline, great for anyone wanting to practice identifying local birds
• 10:00a.m. Closing Ceremony: Celebrate the Runners
• 12:00p.m. Living Earth Concert: Enjoy a local artist under the peppercorn trees. Bring your lunches and enjoy Def Sound: a Sonic Collage Poet from SOUTH CENTRAL LA!
