Flying at 60mph, hummingbirds do their best to impress females and/or discourage fellow competition.

When hummingbirds look for partners, they spend a moment together before continuing their journey as solo travelers. Male hummingbirds puff out their chest and throat to show their gorgeous feathers and then toss their head from side to side so they sparkle in the light. This movement makes it look like they are dancing to a particular song to capture the ladies' full attention. The female hummingbirds pay attention, and once the female shows her interest, she points her bill at him.
