The greater Los Angeles area is a terrific place to enjoy birds. Because we have so many different habitat areas -- beaches, mountains, deserts, rivers – we get an amazing diversity of birds. And Audubon has a great presence here: terrific chapters, a nature center in Highland Park, a sanctuary in Orange County, and lots of enthusiastic members.
[bird] L.A. is all about helping to connect the people of Los Angeles with the wonder of birds and nature. Not only will we let you know about Audubon activities throughout the area, but we’ll also share fun ways you can help the birds around you.
We’ll be building out this website as we go, but the best way to follow [bird] L.A. is to visit our blog or connect with us on Twitter. You can also keep up by Liking Audubon California’s Facebook Page.
